Mission
To provide comprehensive legal advice and effective representation to individuals and companies, nationally and internationally. Our team is dedicated to protecting our clients' rights with professionalism, technical rigour and commitment.
Venezuelan law. International judgement.
Some legal matters are resolved from a single provision. Others demand an understanding of the whole context: the legislation, the institutions, the procedures, the registries, the commercial reality and the particular circumstances of each client.
At VEXSTON we understand that a firm's value lies not only in knowing the law, but in knowing how to interpret it, how to apply it and how to turn it into a strategy capable of moving forward.
That is why we advise companies, business owners, investors and individuals on decisions that call for legal depth and strategic vision, within Venezuela and in matters connected to other jurisdictions. VEXSTON exists to make that complexity navigable.
Founded on a clear vision of excellence and commitment, our mission is to provide comprehensive, tailored legal solutions that answer our clients' specific needs. We combine an innovative approach with a solid legal structure to deliver exceptional service that does not merely meet expectations but exceeds them.
Our lawyers bring together more than 100 years of combined experience across diverse areas of law. That breadth of practice lets us approach each matter with deep knowledge and effective problem-solving, ensuring every client receives meticulous, personalised and highly specialised service.
Principles
We believe legal practice demands far more than technical knowledge. Our practice is therefore built on four principles:
Our clients' interests guide how we act.
Technical depth is not negotiable.
Behind every legal matter there is a person, a company or a project.
We practise law with integrity, responsibility and respect for its principles.
To provide comprehensive legal advice and effective representation to individuals and companies, nationally and internationally. Our team is dedicated to protecting our clients' rights with professionalism, technical rigour and commitment.
To become a benchmark of quality and excellence in defending our clients' interests, recognised internationally for our preventive advice, dispute resolution and legal compliance services.
The method
At VEXSTON we examine each situation from a comprehensive perspective, turning legal problems into strategies for action.
We analyse the legal, commercial and personal context behind each matter. Before answering, we listen.
We identify risks, scenarios and opportunities before they become irreversible decisions.
We design and execute legal strategies aligned with our clients' objectives.
We understand. We anticipate. We act.
The three bars that form the E in VEXSTON are the three steps by which we approach every matter, in that order and without skipping any. The method is in the name.

Estimated total settlement
Vacation check for the last period
This guide provides a purely illustrative mathematical projection of your severance benefits. In Venezuela, the final and binding determination of an employment settlement involves complex technical variables that cannot be automated in a simple simulation. Among other things, it requires a chronological audit of the wages earned, the calculation of proportional profit-sharing and vacations, the monthly application of interest on benefits at the rates of the Central Bank of Venezuela, and alignment with the current case law of the Social Cassation Chamber of the Supreme Tribunal of Justice for dollar-indexed salaries. A weak defence of your salary base can significantly affect your employment entitlements.
Would you like a complete and exact review of your settlement? Our employment lawyers can carry out a detailed legal study of your case.

Frequently asked questions
What clients usually ask about how we work. Questions specific to each subject are on that area's page.
Specific answers, on each area's page:
Office in Chacao, Caracas. We handle filings, registrations and proceedings in any state, and meet clients abroad by video call.
The first consultation can take place at our offices in Chacao, by video call or by phone. We review the facts and documents, identify which area of law applies and explain your options, the risks and the next steps. If the matter calls for ongoing work, we then send you a written proposal of services.
Fees depend on the subject matter, complexity, urgency and type of service: one-off advice, ongoing support or litigation. The cost of the initial consultation depends on the format and length, and is shown when you book. Once you formally retain us, it is credited towards the fees for your matter. Before starting, we give you a written proposal with the scope of work and the fees, so you can decide with full information.
Your ID or the company's tax ID (RIF), the contracts and correspondence related to the matter, and any notice, summons or official request you have received, with its date. For a company, also bring its articles of incorporation and the minutes of the latest shareholders' meeting. Dates matter: in many matters legal time limits may already be running.
Yes. We work with foreign companies and investors, and with Venezuelans living abroad who need to resolve a matter in the country, in Spanish, English or Portuguese. Most of the work is done by video call and with digital documents; when a power of attorney or a document executed abroad is needed, we explain how to apostille or legalise it. See our global services.
Both. Our practice focuses on companies, business owners and investors, and we also represent individuals in criminal, family, civil, employment and real-estate matters.
Everything you tell us is covered by the professional secrecy that Venezuela's Law of Attorneys (Ley de Abogados) and the Code of Professional Ethics of Venezuelan Lawyers impose on every lawyer. Documents are exchanged through the channels you approve.
It is a written, reasoned opinion in which a lawyer analyses the facts, documents and rules that apply to a specific situation, and concludes what risks exist and what options the client has. It is worth requesting before signing a significant contract, investing, starting litigation or answering a request from a government authority.
No. Our office is in Chacao, Caracas, and we provide legal services throughout Venezuela, handling filings, registrations and proceedings in any state. In-person meetings take place at our office by appointment; other consultations are by video call or phone, including from abroad.
VEXSTON accompanies decisions that require more than a legal answer.
They require vision. They require strategy. They require knowing where we stand and where we intend to arrive.
